Forum Manager display order issue
First off guess i should say hello!
My issue and no i am not a pro and very much a newbie to vb and well learning all this the hard way. So here goes hope i explain this correctly admincp ->forums and moderaters-> add new forum ->save upon adding new forum -> display order page forwards you to what you just added to allow for placement verification...well this is how i take it... -> here is my issue.... order number was not correct and wanted to renumber entire forum....did my corrections for order and saved then upon a third check... i always check again if changes are made the order was not what i changed it to and the only way i can change it is from edit to that section i used to be able to change order from the display order page in 4.1.2 and now am using 4.2.2 fairly new site and thinking i missed a setting....oh yea no one warned me that after 14 hours of setting this up there were all these little boxes that run together when you stare at them long enough.... lol holy cow lmao so be kind to me plz sorry if i offend anyone but this one has me stumped starting to like what ive been doing and really want to know how to set this up correctly. Reminder ...newbie so i need it in a dummie kinda form k lmao Thanks ...liking this site seen lots of gooooood things here.... i really want my lil hole in the wall to not only run well but look good been working real hard on that so if you could help me out perfect...i'll be back!! Are you saying that when you go to the Forum Manager, change the display order numbers, then press "Save Display Order", the display order isn't being saved? I'm not sure what to tell you about that except that it should be saved and it works on my test site using vb4.2.0. Do you see any error messages while saving?
