thread prefix
Hello.
I was just wondering if it was possible to change a thread prefix from the url. so using /editpost.php?p=153504&do=editpost&do(something to do with prefixes) to change a thread prefix? Thanks in advance. |

No, you cannot change the prefix via the browser. You (as an admin or thread owner) would have to click Administrator Tools > Edit Thread and change it there.

You can do it via edit post as the originator of the thread....
However, I don't understand why the edit thread function is held in the global settings when in my view it should be in the usergroup options. For example we have a forum forsale and use the prefix for ForSale - Sold - Wanted Now members need to edit this as and when there item is changed status but to give this access I have to give it globally and not either via forum permissions or usergroup permissions. Is there a way around this ? |
