Is there a Display name hack?

I know that in the UBB you had a feature called Display name which mean you didnt have to use your username as the name displayed when u posted a thread.
Is there such a hack for the VBB?

You can add a custom user field, that users can edit in their profile.
Then use that field in your postbit template.
Simply replace $post[username] with $post[field5] where 5 is the ID of the field you just added.
