Considering move to VBulletin
Hi everyone.
Just a few questions if anyone could advise. We're seriously considering moving to Vbulletin from IBP. Please could anyone tell how we would retain all our google indexed url's? We're using add-on's such as IP.Content and IP.Blog so would all our indexed url's be lost or would they all stay exactly the same after importing to Vbulletin? Here's a couple of random examples of the url structure that we would need to keep: domainname.com/topic/1397-ecommerce-infrastructure-decisions/ domainname.com/forum/19-online-businesses-discussed/ domainname.com/topic/1446-hello-everyone/#entry5252 domainname.com/user/5353-forum-admin/ Please could someone tell us if this would be possible? Many thanks in advance. |

You can use existing vb mod rewrite option to maintain same structure you have currently. You can also obtain vbseo mod that would help you to do the same if you are not familiar with mod rewrite.
