'Customize My Profile' Button Missing after Upgrade to 4.2.0
I have run into a number of style/template issues after upgrading from 4.1.12 to 4.2.0. The one that I am having the most issues with is figuring out how to get the 'Customize My Profile' button back on the personal profile pages.
Just to answer all the preliminary questions, I have checked the permissions and the user profile options, I run a customized style, and the 'Customize My Profile' shows up in the default style but not in my customized style, disabling the plugin-hook system does not fix it, and I have already tried reverting Memberinfo to the default version. I remember some time back during a past upgrade I had to modify a template in order to get the Customize my Profile option to work correctly but now I can not remember exactly what I did. I ended up reverting a number of templates after upgrading to 4.2.0 in order to fix various other issues and my guess is that I lost my edit which was allowing the custom profile option to function correctly. If anyone has any tips or ideas to point me in the right direction towards fixing this then it would be greatly appreciated. |

From your description, since it isn't a plugin issue, nor a file issue, it's a template issue. so, you need to go through your customized templates used on that page and compare them to your default template and see what is missing/changed.

*edit* Nevermind. I thought that I was on to something that might help fix this, but apparently not.
