MANY Missing Images
I recently upgraded my board from vBulletin 4.1.6 to vBulletin 4.1.8 and I am having many issues with icons as well as the "vBulletin Logo" appearing.
(Please know that I do not know a lot about PHP or XML.) On my forum, I had originally made the mistake of not renaming the original "upload" folder when I first installed vBulletin (I wanted the folder to be named "forums"). In place, a Tech Administrator for my site put a URL Redirect to a new folder which contained the same vBulletin materials (this is all on the same server). Today, I wanted to upgrade to the newest version of vBulletin, so I kindly asked one of my site's Tech Administrators to merge the "upload" folder and the "forums" folder and just create one big "forums" folder. After he had done that, many post icons and the vBulletin logo were not apprearing. I figured, "Okay, once I upgrade vBulletin, I'm guessing that everything will be fixed." However, that is not what happened. Instead, many icons and images are still missing, and many hyperlinks and the "Forum" page is all messed up. I would appriciate it if someone could tell me how to fix this. ------------------------------------------------- Never mind, I fixed the issue. |

For the images, I think I would right click on the "broken" image (or view page info -> media, or whatever it is for your browser) and see what the path to the missing images is, then go on the server and see if you can move them there.
As for the links, if the path to your pages changed you may need to have someone set it up to redirect from the old path to the new one. |
