Changing Server
Hello
I have installed 4.1.2 on my current server but now i m going to change my server and i have backed up database from current server and closed the forum. Now i want to intall vbulletin 4.1.7 version instead of 4.1.2 and want to ask that will i have to install 4.1.2 1st and then upgrade to 4.1.7 or i can intall 4.1.7 and then restore the database in 4.1.7 that i was created from 4.1.2? it will work fine or must intall 4.1.2 for restore data base? Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php PHP Code:

i think this is an error according to my server /php version or hosting setting
i have tried many times but i got all the time same error even when i entered my customernumber i got an error that saying it could not be connected to database etc... i have delete domain from my pleask admin panel and now i m going to add domain again and in hosting setting there are many options like ASP support.... but in PHP version menu there are 2 versions 1 is 4.4.7 and 2nd is 5.2.13 and then in front of version there is an option that asking for "run as CGI Application and/or fast cgi application and/or isapi extension" which one i have to choose and which verision of php is best for VBulletin... |
