Create a custom header on Forum?
Hi all,
I would like to have a custom navigation bar above my forum. So my main website has your typical links (a header div, then a menu div with "home" "about us", "forum" etc). I would like for this to also appear above the forum to make navigation simpler and to give the forum a more integrated appearance. I can't for the life of me find any docs on how to do it, or which files to modify. Could anyone offer some pointers? Thanks in advance!! I amusing V3.8.5 Paul. |

You can do that easily with this http://cssmenumaker.com/ and place the styling for the css in your Additional CSS and the actual navigation css in your header

Thanks for the info Simon, I don't think I've explained correctly.
I already have the CSS for my menu structure. I want to add this above the forum, to make the forum look like it is integrated with the website. Below is an example, which shows the typical menue structure on my website and the forum below it. This is how I want the forum to look. I suspect I just need to copy the code over onto a VB file, but not sure which one to edit? Any ideas? thanks! |

yep, copy your code over to your header template and paste it right above $spacer_open
