What dose it do?
The Add-On replaces the original vBulletin header and navigation with a much easier to use one. It also makes moderation of the Forum more comfortable and should reduce following Members excuses to not use the Forum:
- The Forum is too complex
- I don't find the Functions
- The Forum is too complicated
It should also reduce the amount of Users, that don't find where to edit there Avatar and such (I really stick to reduce, since some people are so lazy, the only way to make them stop complaining is to actually read there Minds, and then do it for them lol).
Why was this Mod started in the first place?
Because the Forum I started it original, had a lot of people complaining, that it has gotten too complex and such. So far the Members, that tried out the new Interface, love it (and keept using it, even when it was much more uncompleted).
Features:
- New Interface
- Many customization Options
- It tries to use the Style of the current used Style (no edits required to its Style)
- It uses vBulletins stock language file (no translation required - hopefully)
- Depending on Settings, it can also save some space (also one of its targets, to make the Forum "less confusing")
- It makes moderation more fun
- The Tabs work on CSS3 (except for IE)
- Has much space, for additional stuff (I admit, it looks atm kinda empty on stock vBulletin)
- It can be minimized, to save additional space
Known Problems:
- It shows all moderation possibilities to every Moderator (also they can't use these, without actually having the permissions to do so)
- Still very empty
Installation:
At the moment there are 2 Template Edits needed. Detailed Instructions can be found in the Downloads (including screenshots to help).
- There will be a Pro Version soon (available then at http://www.ultraend.com)
- Feel free to request Features
- Feel free to donate for the light Version
- This is my first Add-On I am releasing
- English is not my first language, so pls don't hurt me .
- optimize the space: organize fields, labels, combo boxes, et cetera, to make it look nicer
- edit what the user can see in the menu based on its forum permissions (ex: prevent the user from seeing mod-related tools)
- change the background's color to match the forum's skin
This is looking good so far. Tagged, might use it in the future.
- optimize the space: organize fields, labels, combo boxes, et cetera, to make it look nicer
Yes, thats kinda on my to do list, but I figured, I add first all possibilitys, so I see where I stand .

The Mod and Admin Tab, can't be seen by the Users. But yes, better premission use is also on the List (special Mods can see atm stuff they don't have to see in a Forum Part, they aren't Mod - they can't use it through)

Uhm, what Background do you mean? Atm all Backgrounds are already picked from the Styles Stylevars.
why would you want to disable certain browsers visiting, you are only then limiting the users visit
soory can't install and not supported
also this can be done in 1 menu as a dropdown then submenus
i have a better version of this which i havent released to the public yet
but seriously this mod is not the way to go about it, and should only need an xml file to download nothing else is needed
