what's the correct rss url to put in the options?

I have tried http://www.myboard.com/external.php?type=RSS2

and got an error

If your forum is heavily modified, there is a conflicting third party modification, I haven't figured out which one yet. If you find out let me know

I like how you can use other rss feeds from other sites. I'm currently using my wordpress rss feed to drive traffic to the home page from forums. Nice way to connect both
