Problems with calendar

I've had some troubles with posting new events in the calendar.
When i try to add a new event, it gives me a error 500 screen. So i've started a search what file causes the hang.

I disabled all the plugins and products and put them back on one by one.
At one plugin the calender stops working: plugins manager section: Product : BBR - vB Event Forums ==> when saving an event, create or update the associated thread

I've disabled it for now, but all new postings are now only added to the calendar, but not to a threat anymore.

My vB version is 4.0.1 sp2 and i'm using the blue and gold template.

Is it wise to post the code here from the plugin vb event forum?

You need to read that mod's entire thread for a solution. If you still can't find the answer, then you should post the question in that thread. I use it myself so I know it's working.
