VBulletin 4 integrated into phpFox CMS
Hi,
Just integrated vBulletin into phpFox and I'm wondering what you guys think about the integration. I think the vBulletin design needs a little more tweaking to fit the CMS. The main site is: http://www.spamtrawler.com To get to the forum, you can either use the "Explore" menu and click on: Forum Or you can go to the forum directly: http://www.spamtrawler.com/forums/ I'm happy for any suggestions. Thanks in advance Best Regards Oliver |

your forum is closed to visitors... not good.
btw, having your forum link in the footer will not bring it any visitors ... it is too small |

Hi vbenhancer,
Thank you for your help. There was an issue with the CMS integration, which has now been fixed. The forum can now be accessed by visitors/guests. On our site the forum is not the main part, so it had been put into the "Explore" menu and the footer. Basically just to replace the one which came with the CMS initially. Maybe one of the top links will need to be sacrificed to highlight the forums existence in the future. If you want, please give it another try Thanks a lot |

its a bit confusing at first glance...and there is too much "Waste of space" throughout the website , also i want able to find your forums right off the bat , first i had to scroll all the way down , then i had to search for them on the header.. As far as the forums , nothing special from what i see , wrapped around your CMS.. maybe you should change some colors here an there.

The forum design is completely default and that does not match your PHPFox design.
Could you explain what your site is about? |

I will have to see how block placement and more content will influence the site. Quote:

The wrapping took a good bit of work, so the rest will follow :-) Quote:
There is still a lot of work to do with the forum design, which I eventually would like to give the exact look and feel of the rest of the CMS :-) Quote:
Basically what we do is an Anti-Webspam community and the development of our Website Firewall & Security suite. Our website is a community based around a product, but also free to join for Anti-Spammers, in order to discuss and inform. For any questions, please feel free to ask :-) Thank you for the reviews and the input. |

When I click on "Forums" at the top it goes to a secure https connection but you are showing non-secure (http) content as well which defeats the security since most people can't tell what is secure and what isn't- and some browsers will pop up a security/warning message advising people not to proceed.

Looks good though the forum design could be matched better into the phpfox integration. If you don't mind my asking, was this a self done integration from scratch or a purchased integration?

Apart from the forum being default colors I think by you adding it to the header it really stands out a little bit and really looks great - best of luck with it.
