Choose usergroup upon registration

I thought I've already asked about this recently but cannot find the thread in my threads..

I wanted to know how I can configure the registration so that the user must choose from X Y or Z usergroup.

The idea is the same but instead of the user to choose the group while register, is the admin that decides in which group the newly registered member will part of automatically.

Looks cool but unfortunately this is not what I need.

I need the user to choose from 3 available usergroups upon registering. This cannot be too difficult. Does anyone know a fix?

Try to request it at the request forums, paid or unpaid, and hopefully someone will create it for you.
