Pop Up windows from tabs bar...

Hey all,

Thanks for all the help in advance.

I am trying to get a pop up window going from the tabs. I created a simple html file for the window and I have written some various code for the link but the issue is that users are not being logged in when using the pop up.

The chat I am using is Flashchat and it is integrated using the VB user names etc.. When using the full window users are logged in with no problems..

Thank you so much....I am really in need of getting this window working correctly..

Anyone? People have told me that the tabs are very basic and easy but when ever I have a problem I can find no-one so I guess it is not all that simple. Well worth the added aggravation though.

Any help would be appreciated. I can get this working but just not perfect or the way it should work.. That is really what I want..

I am sorry but reading everything you have i do not understand what you are trying to do . Then you do not have a link to your forum or even a picture explaining it. Just some random CSS does not do anyone much good.

That is not "Randon cfss".. It is just an html file for a pop up window? Did you actually look at it?

Also, I believe nobody is answering because nobody knows how. I think I explained it well. I want to create a pop up window for flashchat. The code that I am using for the window is posted above but when I use it, members are not logged into the chat...

In addition I have been unable to come up with a decent pop up tab....

No need to post a link--This is the same navbar and tab that is in every VB site without a heavily customized skin..

I think if you read the entire post you would known the code posted was not random css and you also would have known I am trying to create a pop up window using the tab system..it says it right in the title--'Pop up window in Tabs Bar"

So you cannot understand still that I am looking for help to create a pop up link for a chat? Not sure why you even bothered posting here unless you are just trying to push my buttons or make me feel stupid.

There are only a rare few that ever help me in here anyhow. When I post I don't expect an answer and I would rather have no answer than a demeaning and rude one.. "i see it helps alot?"....

I am sorry but i was actually trying to help the first time when i honestly asked the question and link because people always have mods and other stuff. I was truly trying to help and then you got rude first. So then i decided not to help and just say good luck. So next time someone asks to be more clear and maybe some pictures on what you want accomplished then you can provide it . Cause what you was asking can be obtained different ways .

Good luck on finding someone to help with an attitude like that.

You are full of opinions and as I said before, I can do without them. I explained what I needed... I don't think anyone needs too much info for a pop up window for a chat box.

I asked politely for help with a pop up window and I added some code I have written. I am sorry if that is unclear to you. Still, you should keep your opinions to yourself if you are not responding to my question. If you looked at my "random css" you would have easily figured out what I was looking for but honestly at this point I don't really care.. As for my attitude--obviously your only goal here is to piss me off, what other reason could you even have for posting in this thread if you have no positive input?

To make things clearer--
VB has a tab bar--I want to create a pop up window for flashchat--I want the window to log in users when opened--currently when ever I create a window it makes users who are already logged into the site, log into the chat again.. I would like them to be logged in..

What pictures are needed?? The navbar is standard in VB4 so why do you need a link?

I posted code for the window along with code for the pop up link--I really figured by looking at the code and at what I typed it would be pretty clear as to what I wanted..

Okay please take a look at my test board ..once you register you can go to community and see flash chat. I actually had a copy laying around i forgot about. But anyways, click on that and it opens in another window. Is that what you are wanting ?
