Looking for some help installing AME. I thought it was going to be straightforward but I am a complete newb. I uploaded all the files and onto my forums directory as well as upload the xml into the plugins manager. However when I went to post a new thread or reply to one I was given a fatal error that would not let me do so. Im not sure if this was because I still had BBcodes active for embedding videos.

Maybe I dont need AME, here is the problem I am having. I made two bbcodes for youtube and youtube hd videos. When I put the embed code in the replacement box under bbcode manager everything is okay and I can see a preview of the video. However, if I go to youtube and copy over an embed code that is not the exact size of what i posted under the bbcode manager then it does not show. A video does show up, but it is the one I used as an example under the bbcode manager.

Sorry for the long post, this is just getting frustrating.

The place to ask for help with modifications is in the modification thread, not out in the main forums.
