Poll Modification - Who Hasn't Yet Voted
What's particularly frustrating for me is posting a poll for important feedback on the board and seeing only one or two votes but 20, 30+ readers in the thread. Ugh! Enough!
What I'd really like to see is a hack that includes a small box underneath the poll that is basically a list of members who have read the thread but have not yet voted. The inclusion of automatic PM to say, "We noticed you read our request for input but haven't taken the time to vote yet. Please let us know..." would also be an excellent addition. Other thoughts are welcome. I'm just hoping I'm not the only one frustrated by this! |

I'd love to have a feature where they can't see the poll results OR the thread until they vote or visibly "opt out" of voting (i.e. they either have to vote or click a viewable-result button that says "see without voting" that would show up at the bottom of the vote result list).

You would probably end up pissing off quite a few users by doing this.

I agree, if they haven't voted they just don't care... when I include a "I don't care" option in a poll it always gets the most votes... most people don't care about most things.

Forcing users to do anything is the downfall reason of many a site.
