User 'Self Cool Off' period, or ability to ban themselves for 24 or more hours
I have users that sometimes get into crazy heated arguments with each other, and they ask me to ban them for 24 hours so they can 'cool off'. They said they can't stop themselves from coming back and posting and arguing again and again on a hot thread, and they want me to help them 'cool off'.
So it would be useful if there was a way they could set themselves to 'banned' for a 24 hour period, so they can do their own 'cool off' when they get too worked up over an argument. Would probably also be helpful if it could be set for various periods, like 24 hours, 48 hours, a week, etc, for if they wanted to force themselves to take a break for a few days. |

ban them, in 2-3 months let them back in. Usaly if they are a pain, they can find another home on my site
You can also Ban them for a time period. Its built in, when you ban them. - depends on the VB version you have. - I think vb 3.5 + has the options to ban for time period. BTW, hey Jilly ! |

they 'ask' you to ban them...
oh gosh... that's way so pathetic... people can not simply stop by themselves, we have now to act for them... next request will be to change their babies diapers... if they are too stupid to stop on their own and they ask you to do it, ban them, like Zacharia said... they deserve to be kicked out if they can not control themselves anyway. |

You know this sounds like a great hack, I'm sure I'd have users using it- they'd get into fights about who would ban themselves the longest too... I'd love this.
