Can someone review this script to see if it will break my DB in 4.0?
Hey, I upgraded to 4.0 and would like to being in my old post edit history from a former hack. Unfortunately, I suspect I should have done this while I was still on the 3.x series...too late now.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=166038 That thread has the script I'm considering using. I'm on 4.0.2 PL2 right now. If someone could take the time to see if it would be compatible with my board, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! |

Your best bet is to ask in the thread if it will work on 4.x since the ones who read the thread know the script.
Actually, the best thing to do is just try it on your test site. Of course, do a database backup before you install it, just in case. Then go post in the thread and let users know if it still works in 4.x. |

I asked on the thread, but it hasn't been supported in a LONG time. I guess I could set up a test site to try it, but currently I only take backups and do work on the live site. I'm also concerned that I wouldn't find issues with it immediately if it fails - I could mark it as working on 4.0 but I might be missing some major problems that would be found in more thorough testing.
