No Style after upgrade?
Hi,
It's probably a silly mistake of me, but I don't know how to fix this. I just upgraded to v4 and now my styles are gone...if I activate the default one from v4 nothing changes. http://www.ww2incolor.com/forum/ |

You are missing all your .css files. I assume that you previously stored them within the filesystem rather than the database? If so, my suggestion would be to "reset" this setup. Change the setting "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?" to be "No" within the "Style & Language Settings" within your vBulletin options. Reload your page (or do a force reload, which I believe is F5 on Windows) and your style should theoretically turn up. Once you have a style, verify that there is a /clientscript/vbulletin_css/ directory that has permission for the server to write to it (CHMOD 777, iirc). If you have that, change the setting mentioned earlier to Yes and verify if you have a style again.

After that you may have to rebuild the style.

let me try that thanks...I don't mind rebuilding the theme.
--------------- Added [DATE]1269664592[/DATE] at [TIME]1269664592[/TIME] --------------- That did it. Thanks. Now I just have to rebuild the header...a bit tired for that now, but I'm already very happy to see the forum back up and running. |
