Any Cron Job tutorials?
I'm looking for a cron job tutorial as it relates to vbulletin cron jobs. I'd like to set a job to run every Sunday at midnight.

I dont have any tutorials but ... Upload your script to includes/cron folder and setup Schduled Tasks from adminCP.

LOL Really??? Is that how you do it??? Slap my mouth and call me a horndog.. I would have never thought of doing that.. Actually, I have done that already but I'm not sure I have my job set right.

I should not tell you this, as you most probably already know this too ... look at the "Weekly Digest" cron task and copy it.

ok Thanks I'll take a look at that.
On a related but side question.. is there anything in the vbulletin cron job scheduler that would cause it to execute a script multiple times during a scheduled run? How would one go about debugging something like this? |

If you don't set the hour/minutes then it is executed many times.
Set 3 things .. day of the week, hour and minutes. |

If you need more help in setting it up, you may want to take a screen shot of your setup screen and someone may see what you did wrong.
