Hello, im looking for a mod that separates display name and login name. I want users to log in with one username but there display name is different. I figure this will provide a little bit more security. I thought i saw a mod similar to this a while back but i been searching for about an hour now and i cant find it. Preferably for 3.8 but if you find it for previous versions i wouldn't mind the link.

Well you can create a usergroup and in the HTML make up add letters or numbers to add to all members in that group.

This is used for forum moderators, they add MOD- in the first HTML mark up box

Not what im looking for, i want them to use 2 completly different usernames here is an example

Username: choasman5467
Password: elitegamer123
Display Name: Hell Bomb

Hmmmmm doesn't seem like it would really be that hard to do tho. I guess i will have to try and whip up something on my own.
