Do you have the option to go back?
There is a bug in the bug tracker about 5.3 and a fix is posted in there depending... What version of vB are you running? If it isn't 3.8.4 or later, you are going to have to do several file edits to get it to work. |

hmmm 3.8.4 or close to it i can't remember now..

Yea moving hosts now, going to a vps server so i have control and will upgrade it once done..
Should that upgrade mess anything up like templates or mods. I am always worried about doing those.. Had a few issues back in the day.. |

Specify to your new host that you need a PHP in the 5.2 series, and you'll should be ok.
