I just merged a style into the same style that I had spent a week editing and now I am back to what it was before I edited it.
How do I get my edited style back? Are they stored in SQL or something, I have backups. This is a huge bummer. |

Yes, of course they are stored in the DB. The easier way is to reimport an older DB backup (maybe to a temporary DB, if you do not want to overwrite the current one) and then use vBulletin Style & Templates to export the DB. Then just reimport it into the actual live DB.

I mean my templates that I edited for the style are gone. I want to recover my edited templates but when I merged the original style into my edited templates my edits were deleted.
--------------- Added [DATE]1259396263[/DATE] at [TIME]1259396263[/TIME] --------------- I have fixed it, I used a backup SQL and deleted the styles, templates and templates history tables then added them from a backup. Thank god I added a backup script to do daily backups last week, I hadnt been doing them for a year! |
