Soft-deleted thread ...title displayed only to admins?

Hi,
when a thread gets "soft-deleted"
i would like to keep title of the thread stay visible for all user groups.

at the moment the normal users only see the name of the thread starter
and the delete-reason-message. ...but not the original thread title anymore.

the admins see it though. i've checked the user group settings
but could not find any setting for this.

anyone have an idea?
(im on vB 3.7)

I think you'd have to edit the "postbit_deleted" template and insert the parts you want to display (which you can probably find in the "postbit" template). For instance:

I added the part in red, which adds the title after the user name.

I'm sorry - I just realized that your comment says "thread" and not "post" - the above shows the title for deleted posts. (I guess that explains why I wasn't able to see deleted post titles like you described, even as an admin).

...but that just makes it easier. In the "threadbit_deleted" template, delete these parts (the parts in red):
