Information - at the right location - easily found
The modification forums where addons are located should feature a sticky or announcement.
..Which simply provides steps for adding an addon. e.g. log in to the admin area of your forum locate and click 'plugins and products' click on 'manage products' click on [Add/Import Product] Similarly, the area where template modifications are found should have an announcement or sticky which gives basic instructions. Why? Because the developers write something like, "Use the ACP and just install it." News: That ain't helpful and it's not good enough. Conclusion: The top website for template mods and add on mods for vbulletin should have easy to find instructions for working with what it found on the site. |
