gmail accounts
Hi
I am getting at least 1 a day users with @gmail accounts that are purely using my forum to post `spam and useless threads. It seems quite obvious to me that this is quite easy for this to happen, but is there a way to stop this.. I have read simular posts and threads with this issue.. all help appretiate |

What sort of action have to taken so far to stop spammers?

Thanks Lynne. I have not done anything at all yet on my forum as I am a newbie and really Just starting out . I do have access to my domains hosting account, so I could also do things there as well. But would like to action via the vbulletin admin interface if possible.. |

Well, there are simple things like turning on reCaptcha for registration. Have you done that or what is your option there - vboptions > Human Verification Manager > Human Verification Library

i have all gmail addresses banned along with many others
just fill them in in your vbulletin options>user banning options |
