How to set forum permission on multiple domains with single vb database
Hi there,
I am able to set up different domains all pointing to a single vb database. However, I am getting the same content from all domains since I am pointing them to a centralized db. I want to ask, how can we restrict certain forums on different domains? That is, forum 1 can only displayed on forum1.com, while forum 2 in the database on forum2.com but cannot be seen on forum1.com. if someone can assist would be great. Cheers. |

You realize you will need a different license for each domain since the content will not be the same on each domain, right?

hi yep definitely. I understand that requires seperate license since it's under different domain names.
Are you able to help? I have also found this interesting discussion about this topic. |

I think you saw that someone was working on doing something exactly like this - I saw you post in his thread in The Hatchery. You may want to PM with him and see what is up.
