copy/paste images in postbit
so, as the admin, i'm able to find an image online through google images or something, right click it, copy it, and then paste it directly into a post by right clickign in the input box and selecting the paste option.
my other users however, have PM'd me saying they are unable to copy and paste images into their posts. after copying the image, when they go to the input box and right click, the paste option is completely unavailable... any ideas? |

You may be using the WYSIWYG editor and they are not. Have them switch in their User CP > Edit Options to the WYSIWYG Editor (or click the little box in the right corner to switch).

oh, wow. I feel silly. That is exactly the problem.
I went to vbulletin options and set it so new users will by default use the WYSIWYG editor. That should solve that. Arigatogozaimashita. |

There's also a script that will switch all of your current users to the WYSIWYG editor. They really don't want anything less, so why not?
It's down in Mantenance>Execute SQL Query>Automatic Query>Show enhanced editor toolbar. Note that you have to give yourself perms to run a sql query first. |
