Drive Thru Online ? Garage and Garage Plus vBadvanced Modules
Overview
If you are using DTO Garage or Garage Plus and also use vBadvanced for your site we've developed three modules to further integrate Garage functionality throughout your site. The modules are:
Random Garages
This modules allows you specify the number of garages to randomly display in either a horizontal or vertical layout. Additional display options are also provided.
Featured Garages
This module allows you to feature a garage for a day, week, or month. The selection of the garage is currently manual but an automated selection process is being considered for future releases of Garage and Garage Plus. As with the Random Garage module additional display options are provided.
Garage Statistics
This module provides a number of statistics including number of garages, number of members with at least one garage, models represented, and more.

DTO Garage versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, DTO Garage Plus version 1.1.1

Release and Version History 1.0.0 - September 5, 2009
Initial release
The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.
Typical values for type are type="text/css" for <style> and type="text/javascript" for <script>.
2. Error Line 74, Column 2807: end tag for "img" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified
You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".
3. Info Line 74, Column 2704: start tag was here
After deleting random garages from my site, it is valid...
Please bug fix it
Kolbi,
This doesn't look like an alt tag issue since but instead appears that there is broken tags in the html stream. Can you turn the module back on but set it so that only one garage is displayed? Once that is one please view source, save the contents of that to a file, and attach it to a reply here. I'll take a look at that and see if I can reproduce the problem.
Kolbi,
When I use the validator link I'm seeing other errors from this page that don't appear to be related to the module. If you turn off the module do all these go away?
At the minimum I'm not seeing display errors using my browser...only XHTML validation errors. Are you seeing some type of browser display problem?
Currently I have 194 errors because of the new vbseo upgrade.
But before upgrading I had 15 issues because of your random garage module.
Before installing it and then it is turned off there are no xhtml errors.
Display errors are not caused. Only xhtml validation errors.
Since the Garage templates aren't XHMTL compliant yet I would suspect that you will also receive validation errors when viewing any user's garage page.
I'll add the alt tags to the vba module templates and send you a copy to test. Can you PM me with your email address so I can send them directly to you? If the testing looks good on your end I'll update the version distributed.
Till mferguson is uploading the corrected randomgarage here is mine: Attachment 104193
