Will vb4 have a new form of encryption?

I am very interested in moving pasted md5 and into a semi-more ideal encryption system. Would you guys be willing to do that as well? Salts alone arnt good enough these days, with the very cheap high powered cpus and rainbow tables.

I was wondering if you guys could put fourth.

A reset all user passwords (in which it would email all users a new password)

using a function or command like that, can allow you guys to change the way the passwords are stored.

Just my 2 cents. I hope you guys look into it.

Why mess with what is already working? You're asking vB to basically tell each and every forum user and each and every forum member that they can no longer use their passwords, but must create a new one? Uhh, no thank you! That would do nothing but upset more customers than IB already has upset right now!
