Bridge from Instantforum (ASP.net) to Vbulletin
Heya,
Just wondering is there a bridge available to get all profiles and all posts over from an instantforum (build for asp.net) to vbulletin? If not: Can it technically be done anyway? Adn if so: How much would it cost app.? Thanks. |

Current situation: We are running a big forum on Instantforum, but is is 2003 technologgy (at best) and it is just not up to standards anymore. In the best scenario I would like to "copy" or migrate or whatever the official term is to a vBulletin board, but I need all users, posts, links etc. etc. to be converted correctly (So all internal links need to be rewritten as well), if there is a remote chance that I lose material I rather not do it. Our forum is the backbone of our company and WAY too valuable to lose. So I was just wondering: Is it even technically possible to do something like that? Are there already tools for sale that handle this? And if not: IF I would have to pay, what kind of money are we talking about? (If I get in the process of offering money I will start a new thread in the appropriate forum.) |

ImpEx does seem to support InstantForum version 4.1.4. I don't know if there are more versions of your current software. You can download ImpEx from the Members' Area.
It might be able to redirect the old URL's to the new vBulletin URL's. |
