We are creating inventory lists for our users to keep track of virtual items they own from an online game. I am looking for something that will allow our users to check off the items they have and then save the data. Since their items change, they would need access to the list again to check off new items and then save the data again. In addition, I would need to update the lists, without losing the users data, as new items are added. We have approximately 10 categories and each category has 10 - 100 items and growing. I hoped to add something under the user profile, if possible. I have no coding experience and slowly moving along with the help of vBulletin manuals...which I know makes this very difficult. It's frustrating as well - I've been trying to figure this out for a few weeks now.
I didn't even look at if you can even check off the items, but I love the setup of the World of Warcraft Crafting Database but I could never do something like that. Any suggestions as to how I go about this? Is there an add on I could somehow use? Thanks in advance |

Is it possible to add extra pages to user profiles and then use the Multiple-Selection Checkbox type to build our checklists I described above? I messed around with the checkboxes in the demo before purchasing vBulletin and they did exactly what I needed - repeatedly add items, sort, check off the items, and save the data originally checked by a user. The only problems I found were only allowing 31 boxes per field and when you view the profile field category, the items were all listed on one line and separated by commas.
