Hi,
I have a couple of the banner ad mods on my forum. I have been keeping track of my advertisers and ad expirations etc. by just writing them down in a book. When ads are due to expire I have to PM them and let them know and ask them if they want to renew. To do this I have to always check the book to see when someone is due and quite frankly, I forget half the time and it's a pain in the rear to keep track of everything. Does anyone out there know of a system or way to make some of this automated so that they get an email or PM when they are expiring etc. Anything that would make keeping track of them easier? Thanks, Deb |

Hi Deb, I would consider installing RedTygers Banner mods, he has a ad management mod with a forum post and blog add-on if needed.
It takes a little tinkering in your admin once installed, but I figured it out in just a few hours. Option to email isnt there, but you can set dates, etc. Check out the ads on my site, I used his mod. www.bud101.com |

LOL, cool.... a marijuana forum. It's funny because one of my forum members planted a vegetable garden this year and a few days ago found some marijuana plants growing in the middle of it with no clue how they got there. I don't know what she did with them. :lolani:
I will check out RedTygers banner mods, though I'm fairly new to VBulletin and PHP in general and am very afraid to mess with the templates so most of the mods I get are those I don't have to do any template edits. Your site looks great! |
