We are having an issue in that any post with smilies in the post or users signature, does not display.
Is there a way we can temporarily turn off the smilies so that we can at least read posts while we troubleshoot? Thanks |

You might want to quickly see if it's a modification causing the problem - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php PHP Code:

tried that and the same thing happens.
Anything that has a smilie (replace text with image) just returns a blank page. If we use the img tag it works fine. I was able to read a post earlier that had smilies in it, when others couldn't. But when I refreshed after that I could not get to the post. so it is something with the smilies |

Are you seeing anything in the error_logs?
This should help - this is a page from the manual about troubleshooting blank or 'white' pages: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/blank_pages |
