Long Posts time out in the forum - 3.8.2
hi,
we have a forum at http://www.deutsches-architektur-forum.de. About 2 days ago it started, that we cannot write long posts anymore. After submitting nothing happens, the waiting cursor starts but no new page is loaded. Preview is also not possible. If you edit an old long one, if can happen, that it is cut to a new much smaller size. We use vbulleting 3.8.2 and didnt make any changes in the forum recently. The database reparing /optimize went through without any error. Not PHP or Database errors are recorded. Does anyone know what i can try? |

Did you try disabling all your modifications?
Add this to the end of your config.php: PHP Code:

Have you looked in your error_logs? (If you don't know where they are, ask your host.)

no PHP nor Database errors reported by vbulletin. And Apache also doesnt give an error.

How about the mysql logs? Could be a timeout there. (although you usually get an error mailed to you about those.) Have you ever had your server optimized in the Server Config forum over at vb.com?
