Hi,
Let's say i post on the forum and my post is number 56. (http://www.mysite.com/showthread.php?p=56#post56) If i were to delete it, and post another message, it will be post57. How do i fix such that it will be in sequence and consistent? Thanks. |

You can't (unless you go modify the database every single time a post is deleted). The post number goes up incrementally no matter if any posts are deleted.

It has no effect on the database to have missing post numbers. It was made to be this way.
