Is there a way to mass move paid subscribers
OK folks...I realize now that I screwed up with I set up my paid subscriptions. I did not check the box for the paid members to be moved to or added to a new usergroup. I now need to do that so that I can change the permissions for registered but unpaid members.
I go to the subscription manager and have about 1000 paid members. Is there a mod or any other known way to mass move those members to another usergroup or add them to another group. It appears that I now have to do it by editing one member at a time. That will take forever. I now have the new group created and new members that subscribe are added to the new group but it doesn't help with the almost 1000 that were subscribed previously. |

hmmm.....no responses. I guess that is bad news and I need to get busy manually editing those 1,000 members.

You can do it via SQL and PHP - but you will most likely have to write this code, as I don't know of any readily available script.

Thanks...I think you are right because I've looked pretty extensively and haven't found anything. My PHP skills aren't up to the task so looks like it's manual for me. I appreciate the response.

I'd guess all you need to do is find in the database the flag that set's them as subscribed, and the update usergroup where that flag is set, shouldn't be too difficult...
I don't use subscriptions myself, so can't help you out on the first bit.... |
