Noobie questions about vb mods
Hi. I have 2 noob questions:
1) How do I install a vb mod? 2) I'm on 3.8 vbulletin. Do I HAVE to use a 3.8 mod or can I use older version mods? For example, a great plugin called iTrader is somewhere in the archive and was designed for an older version. Thanks |

1) Usually there are installation instructions. But you might want to also read this in the manual - The Product Manager
2) Sometimes. It is usually best to read the thread and see if someone else has posted about whether it works in your specific version or try it out on a test site and make sure it works for your version. |

Thank you for the prompt response Lynne. Just one more question, are there other big mod databases out there or if this is the only one?
I know for wordpress, you can find single plugins scattered everywhere but the wordpress site is where everyone goes to thanks |

There are other sites - you can probably google "vbulletin modifications", but this one is probably the most well known site (and it's the official modification site).
