Few 3.8.1 Questions
First up have removed the threads/views/posts boxes from all of our forum listings as they're not really needed, however when displaying a forum that contains sub-forums I can't find where to remove the column titles for threads and posts (see attached image), have looked through all of the forumdisplay templates but couldn't nail this one.
Any help with this would be appreciated thanks . |

To find the template, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.

That's a great tip thanks Lynne, I did already have the template name thingy enabled but hadn't looked at the source code :s. Will most very useful for future modifications, however didn't help in this case, have found where it is set but theew doesn't seem to be a template directly associated with it, all it has is:
<!-- sub-forum list --> Don't think this is a template in itself, could be wrong tho so maybe it's a sub-section of forumdisplay.php?? --------------- Added [DATE]1235173012[/DATE] at [TIME]1235173012[/TIME] --------------- W00t, found it, thanks for your help Lynne . |
