You may want to read this: Multiple domains and the license agreement.

You can park a domain on top of the already installed domain... I have about 20 domains parked on mine...

i want to do basically the same thing as those forums are doing (which is allowed by vb TOS). the question is how is it done? I'm assuming some kind of ReWrite in the htacess? or maybe a weird redirect (doubt it but dont know). My situation ispretty much as above, having 3 domains I want to all use the same single vb install, same content of course (so as not to break TOS) 3 different domains that all point to the same forum BUT will show three different URLs when accessed/used from the respective domains link. I tried a link from each domains 'home' page to the installed vb forum but of course the URL changes to the installed location instead of keeping the domain name of the URL the user is coming from (as in the above example where depending which link you pick, you get the same forum but with a different url ex 123domain . com/forums OR ABCdomain. com/forums). Anyone doing this? or know how? Thanks for any help or How-To! |

It's domain parking, as mentioned in the post above yours. However, you will also need to add the URLs into the POST request whitelist inside the Admin CP.

Also "How it is done" is not a question for the Pre-Sales forum.
