Removing "Post Icon" colum in 3.8
Removing "Post Icon" column from forumview, search, etc.
I would like to remove the useless Post Icon from showing up, since it is useless ever since Quick Reply was implemented. I followed some directions I found here in a search, but doing so just messed things up. I guess it is due to the newer version of VB working differently. Could someone post an updated guide on how to do this? |

I have no clue about what you are talking from. Which ones? Those which are located on the left?

All attach an example. As you can see, hardly anyone uses it, and it's totally pointless. |

Was this the one you used:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=197654 --------------- Added [DATE]1232818735[/DATE] at [TIME]1232818735[/TIME] --------------- I would go to Styles & Templates > Search In Templates In the Search For Text box put posticons . It should bring up the templates that have this in them. I would start by removing the code $posticons from both newreply and newthread templates so no one could click on them anymore. --------------- Added [DATE]1232819094[/DATE] at [TIME]1232819094[/TIME] --------------- When I removed the posticon template totally it removed the posticons from the newreply and newthread templates also. Don't know how this will affect everything in the long run. Just trying to help out. |

I think if I did that, it would just leave an empty space. The column will still be there.
Anyone? |
