I have seen this on boards before, and I want it on mine
How would I make it so a users htaccess is the same as his login/password? Is there a hack or something that automatically updates the htaccess with the logins? |

The server would need mod_auth_mysql, so you can set the .htaccess to read the user table of vB, or you'd have to hack the registaration files to also write the pass to a .htpasswd file...

Well, seeing how I have no idea what mod_auth_mysql is, and certainly do not have access to my hosts's server besides my own account, this rules it out then...

me too, my server doesnt have mod_auth_mysql installed, neither do i have access to install scripts on the server....so a hack is highly appreciated.
