I get a generic icon for im_skype.gif:
![]() The icon is in the proper directory with the other IM GIFs. When I right mouse click on it, and do a "save image as", it gives me my Skype name with a .png extension (thebeatles58.png). Clicking on it does work, with generic icon. Thanks. |

OK, it is set to Yes.
I guess there is 2 issues: 1. I'm logged into to Skype, and yet vBulletin is showing me Offline. 2. The offline gif (skype_offline.gif) is not appearing. I placed it in /images/misc Thanks. |

Check the path to the image in the page source. If you have that path set to Yes, then it should not be looking for an image on your site:

It is set to Yes.
So it is pulling the image off of SkypeWeb server!? Even so, it is still showing me as not logged into Skype when I am. So, if the SkypeWeb server is not functioning? Since the server is not correctly sensing if a user is online or off, I should just change it to No and use local (static) graphic. I guess my question is, if the SkypeWeb server was functioning correctly, could I use my own online and offline skype gifs and have them appear accordingly? Thanks Lynne. |
