time stamps not displayed

in vbulletin, every thread created and every reply posted to it contains a timestamp which helps us in knowing when the particular thread/post was made. in my forum, somehow, none of the posts show the timestamp. please help. |

Create a new style with no parent - Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style > no parent - then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?
Also check vboptions > date & time options and make sure you have entries in all the Format boxes. |

strangely enough, the default skin shows the date and time accurately...

OK, then that just means it's a problem with your style. I don't know if you use the postbit (user info on top) or postbit_legacy (user info on the site), but just go to your style and edit that template and click on View History and then Compare. You can then see what the differences are between your postbit(_legacy) template and the default Jelsoft one. Find the code for the post date and copy it into your template and save. Hopefully that fixes the issue.
