Upgrade Heavily Modded VB
I'm running 3.6.4, heavily modded, also skinned....I want to upgrade to 3.7.4 and have tried every way possible to get my existing style to work on my test forums after the upgrade. I end up with what appears to be all my mods working, but the header buttons do not display correctly (extremepixels skin) and also a lot of the links in the user/cp are not there. Is there a thread or a how-to as far as upgrading without breaking mods?

I have not seen an upgrade tutorial written specifically for heavily modded boards. It's the same basic steps for any board. It's just that upgrading those templates will take a lot more time on a heavily modded/styled board cuz you need to go through every line and see what to add/delete in each modified template.
