The link above puts a root kit on your comp then resets computer BEWARE

Bro_joey Gowdy check your comp for a root kit.

Avast found it when i clicked the link but comp still reset so going ot have to scan full comp

Went back to site after reset and it never kicked in - not sure now.On the page above a yellowbar came up in top of IE and it wanted me to allow it access but before had time to do anything it just reset computer.

I'm paying around $3 for 100-octane. I think regular is somewhere around $2.30 - $2.50...don't really keep up with the low octane stuff as I refuse to run it in my car.

Sick of hearing this. When you have to drive 25+ miles every time you get in your car to go anywhere at all (including gas stations, grocery stores, and your work place) your complaints about having to pay more will stop falling on deaf ears. I'm also willing to bet a Wiimote that you have the option of public transportation which does not exist where I live.

In stock car racing (see NASCAR) drivers enter and exit the car through the window because the car has a full roll cage. There is no need for a working door. I've always assumed the good-old-boys were just following suit as I think the General Lee had a full roll-cage built in to it.

That said, you can't bring up the General Lee without thinking about this song;

Quote:
Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just good ol' boys,
Wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.

less of the attitude be a good thing. If you live so far away from any shops etc then thats entirely down to your way of life.I was complaining how we in the uK pay far more for our petrol than you lot over there do.I do have the option of public transport but i also have the option of the jeep i drive.Public transport over here is a laugh and why should i use it when i can afford to drive + i have to pay road tax then my insurance and then the rising price of fuel.
I drive about 1000 miles per week in my job so public transport would not be feasible for me.
Just because you live so far out in the outback does than mean your fuel should be cheaper than mine ?

Yes because it isn't just me living in the backwoods...it's a large part of the population in the USA. I know all you see on TV over there are cities like LA and NYC but that is not where a large part of the population here lives. Many people in the states (even many of the people that work in large cities) live outside of them simply because the cost of living is not as high in the country. I personally did not make the choice to live where I live now...my family owns a farm and I'm still trying to figure out how to raise enough money to move the hell away from it.

It basically comes down to this; If we paid as much for gas as you guys do people simply couldn't afford to make the trip to work and back everyday. Hell we're having a hard enough time doing that as is and most of us can't even save a little on the side by using an alternative transportation method. No bus, too far to use a bike for anything, hell we don't even have Vans to haul the old people around anymore.

As far as my attitude is concerned I tell it how it is, if you take offense to that it's your problem. If I had an issue with you on a personal level I'd make it very clear to you and everyone else. Don't jump to conclusions and assume I'm ill just because I disagree with you on certain issues.
