Moderate posts during the night
I have some members that can't be banned because of their unstable state of health and their absolute need to use the forums.
But sometimes they post a lot bad things during the night and we have to clean that in the morning. Is there a possibility to set some users that they normally don't have to be moderated, except during the night (22:00 - 08:00) where every post needs to be moderated? Thanks a lot! Marcel |

Are they in their own usergroup? Maybe you can turn moderation on and off for the usergroup at times. You go to bed, you turn on moderation. You get up, you turn it off. Maybe you can write a Scheduled Task to turn that on and off for you. Or, put them in Coventry overnight (they post, but no one can see their posts). (Again, possibly write a Scheduled Task/cron job to do this.)

A cron job would be perfect.
And this would affect just one group. Can anybody tell me how I could switch "moderation for group = yes/no" at 22.00 and to "No" at 08:00? Thanks a lot! |

It may be move complicated than that. If you changed things in the Forum Permissions for that usergroup in any of the forums, then just changing it for the usergroup won't work. You should try doing this manually for a few nights and see if it works. Then we can see about writing a cron job.

I could only imagine that it doesn't work, if someone stays in the same session from before 22.00. But if this would also work, I don't see a problem. I have just changed a group to moderation and it works ...
