is there any way i can mass prune users with a certain email ? like rubbish@mail.ru ? and delete all the users that have that ending email address ?

If you can access phpMyAdmin go to the user table.

1) Look for the email field.
2) Enter mail.ru as value and LIKE %...% as operator
3) Select all users and delete them

That's how I erase spambots who register at my forum with "-12" as timezone
