Is it worth it, to install a mod like this?

Does it help the search engines?
My forum has a little over 3 million posts, and I don't know if I should install the mod or not?

Tags aren't meant to help the search engines. They're to help future searchers find topics that don't contain those keywords. e.g. "My Chevy is blue" might be unfindable in the future unless you add the tag "Chevrolet" to it.

I intend to install the mod you pointed to. I've just been waiting for it to mature, but it seems to have reached that point.
