I would like to be able to include some profile fields in the main members search...
Is this possible? When i looked i found this mod but i cannot download the txt file .....not sure why Is it what i am looking for? Is it possible to add profile fields to the main search? --------------- Added [DATE]1222621498[/DATE] at [TIME]1222621498[/TIME] --------------- Or Is this all unnecessary and i have just miss understood a setting ?? |

This is a standard vb feature. Have a closer look at the profile field manager in your admin cp.

yes i got that .....
![]() Maybe i am explaining badly If a member searches for say london I would like it to search Location / bio / username / job title /key skills... all In one go It is currently only searching the search field they type the search in.... |

Oh, sorry. I should better go to the doctor and get some glasses for myself. I don' think you can do that in vbulletin. You need custom code. The mod you linked looks like it is doing what you intend to do, but it is for a very old version. It is most likely not compatible with vb3 or later.
